3 Months Old

Our baby is already 3 months old.

New things

-Found her thumb...and we're working on keeping it away...
-Chews and sucks on her fists A LOT
-is drooling like crazy...soaking shirts and has really gotten into the symptoms of teething.
-holds her head up alone
-talks a lot and mimics your sounds
-looks to find mommy and daddy when she hears them talking
- can grab toys but doesn't quite yet know how to let go...get's frustrated when she is holding on
-officially now in her crib
-is eating about 20-25 minutes during each feed...an increase
-is outgrowing her 0-3 months onsies and sleepers
-LOVES her Bumbo with toys...and knows how to spin the toys and throw them off her tray.
-loves to watch mommy as she cooks
-loves to play in the bath water...and doesn't mind water in her face (she's outgrowing her tub)
-She loves men....it must be something about the deep voice, but she is sure fascinated.
-She loves to smile and make laughing noises
-is very animated and very social...she LOVES people.
-She tried to reach things but it appears that her hands are too heavy and she can't lift them to touch certain thing in front of her.

There is so much more that our sweet Hannah is doing but I only can list a few things. Hope you all are well. God is good and he has surely blessed us.Baby ducks came to our door one day...Hannah enjoyed watching them with Daddy.

Happy 5th Anniversary

We celebrated our 5th anniversary on July 16 by going to a Brazilian Steak house. What an exciting 5 years we've had. We've been through many experiences, all of which have grown us closer together.

We've Moved!

Good Afternoon...as I write this, I am very exhausted. We are all moved in to our new place and most of the decor is up already. It's been a little rough for Hannah as we've adjusted to not only a NEW place but she is now fully into her crib and no longer in our room with the pack n' play. She is sleeping about a 6-7 hour stretch at night then gets up once to eat and then goes back down for 3 hours, and ready for the day by about 9-9:30 a.m. So, she is still sleeping well, but not as good as the 9 1/2 hours she was pulling the week before we moved. Dan and I however, are very exhausted as I stated above. We've been working late nights to get everything done and of course with Hannah's sleep schedule off from what it was, that makes it more exhausting for me as well. We are adjusting and soon I know we won't be so exhausted from getting everything set up, we can actually enjoy our humble abode!

We LOVE our new apartment. Once it's all set up and clean...then I can post some pictures. But for now a description will have to do :-) It's a 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath, with a sunroom (which we use as the office), kitchen and shared living/dining area, 1002 sq. ft. It's the perfect size for us. I even have some empty cupboards in my kitchen because most of it was packed for storage. Now that I see that I have 6 empty cupboards and an empty hutch, it makes me sad. We can get some of the kitchen items out of storage but I didn't pack the kitchen stuff, so have no idea what is in every box and I can't open all the boxes...sigh....so, I'll have to just deal with it :-)

All in all, we LOVE our new place and are blessed to live about a 5 minute drive and 15 minute walk from Dan's parents house.

Sleeping through the Night

Today Hannah is 11 weeks old. I am so excited to tell everyone that Hannah slept 9 1/2 hours last night. I am one excited Mommy :-) I got 7 hours since I stayed up after she went to bed, so I am tired knowing I could have gotten even MORE sleep! Yay Hannah, we love you and are so excited for your growth and routines!!!

New Things:
-She has found her hands and is cross eyed all the time trying to zoom in and see her fingers and fist.
-She awakes every morning with her little baby talk and giggles...it's so precious to wake up to that...there is nothing greater!
-She is very alert now and loves to look around at everything.
-She goes to sleep at night very easily...she is PERFECT! (will it stay for long?)
-She loves her daddy so much and loves to talk with him.
-She adores her bath time and we play for about 15 minutes every other day or so.
-She LOVES to eat and does so for about 15-20 minutes at each feeding.
-She is FINALLY in size 1 diapers as of last week.
-She had her first play date with James Norman yesterday, they were so cute together.
-She LOVES her playmat and that black and white penguin still.

Well, Hannah is calling me so I should go for now. Love to you all!

Hannah napping on her belly...I thought she was so cute with her butt up in the air.
Laughing during our play dateI love this one of Hannah and James...Hannah's smile is just priceless :-)
It was hard to get them both to sit next to each other...they kept pushing each other over. Getting to know each other...

Conversing with Daddy

This is just adorable. No one can talk to Hannah like Daddy...not even me. They are just too cute together. She has captured Daniel's heart and he is so in love with her. We love you Hannah Grace!

Great Aunt Cindy

We were so blessed to have my aunt come to stay with us for a couple days, literally 48 hours. She was so helpful...basically packed our kitchen and just adored Hannah. We love you Great Aunt Cindy and we miss you so much! Thank you for coming to visit on your vacation.
