12 weeks with Baby G #4

I had a (NT) Nucal Translucency ultrasound on Wednesday and everything looks perfectly healthy with this baby. We've decided not to find out the gender. That makes is hard for me. I so enjoy picturing what the baby will look like, calling the baby by name, and planning through clothes and nursery accents. This is #4, so we will be surprised. I'd really like to have a boy, but won't be disappointed with a baby girl.

Here are some picture of the ultrasound.
This baby was moving so much that they couldn't even get the measurement they were looking for. They saw a glimpse of the spinal space and fluid they were looking for as the baby moved, just couldn't' measure it.
This should have been 12 weeks 4 days, but I was measuring 13 weeks already.

Heart Rate is 158 bpm. Looks good!
Head on...this baby is staring at you, while laying down.
Head to the left, chest to the right and shoulders to the right.
You can see the brain in the skull, two eyes, nose and mouth.
It's incredible to see these images!

Here is a video clip of this active baby!

11 weeks 5 days (approximately) with Baby G #4

Today I have noticed that I am super hungry. Like. All. Day.
Lets see, it is 5:04 pm and here is what I've had today.

Breakfast: 3 slices of Canadian bacon (ham), 4 okra pieces, some potatoes, 1 scrambled egg and a glass of Orange Juice

Snack: Blueberries, Oranges
Snack: Yogurt
Snack: Gluten/Dairy/Soy free hot pocket
Snack: Snack bag of carrots
Snack: Red Grapes and Strawberries
Lunch: Leftover Salad and Chicken Tortilla Soup
Snack: Guacamole and chips
And I am currently STILL hungry!!!

I noticed a huge change today. I may not have the nausea or day time exhaustion, but I certainly am hungry way more often AND, last night I fell asleep at 7pm. I. Am. That. Tired.

Growing this baby takes some planning, dedication and hard work!

11 Weeks with Baby G #4

Today I am 11 weeks. I can see a growth spurt in my belly.
I saw my doctor on Tuesday, and she measured me 10 weeks 4 days. I thought I was 10 weeks 2 days. It's still with in a 4 days window every time the baby is measured.
Everything looked great. Baby BPM was 188.  I thought that was crazy high, but apparently normal.
I had all my initial lab work completed
(now I know they are are negative and normal, Praise God)
This week we were planning to go to Dime Box on Thursday. I spent the entire day packing and getting food prepped and packed. I was utterly exhausted by the time we got there, unpacked, and got to bed by 11:30pm. I woke up on Friday morning with a little scare.
I woke up Friday morning with a very dull pain in my lower left side under the pelvic bone. In fact, it woke me up from sleeping. It was off and on for about 3 hours that morning. I used my doppler and found the babies heartbeat, so that gave me some consolation. I was still a bit concerned. Some time after that, I went to the bathroom and has a small bowel movement. When I wiped, it was bright red with slight white mucous. I wiped until it became pink and then clear. We sat down to breakfast and then I started blacking out. I immediately asked Daniel to pour me a glass of Orange Juice, I needed a sugar boost. I have no idea what happened. Maybe a combination of shock and what I had just seen and concern for my baby. After I was able to recover, I called my doctors office and they told me to lay low, rest, and basically I was on pelvic rest for awhile.
Thankfully, I've not had any issues since then. It was very scary for me.
So far, this pregnancy has been unlike any other I've had.
All the nausea, spotting, no cravings yet, etc. is just different.

10 Weeks with Baby G #4

This picture below marks 10 weeks.
This week was really good. Monday, I woke up with more energy in the morning.
By about 11:30, I was ready for a nap.
Nausea has subsided for the most part during the day, but continues a little into the evening.
I heard the babies hear rate around 165 this week with my home doppler. 9 weeks 4 days is when I heard it for the first time. I am enjoying being pregnant, but am quite exhausted with my 3 kids and daily activity.

Kathryn's Independence

If you know our Kathryn, then you know she is strong and fierce!
She loves to do everything that she can, on her own. This water container gets pretty heavy, but she insisted on filling it for me. She was so proud of herself as she held it up to refill.
I love how determined she is to accomplish things that sometimes even I think are just out of reach or not possible for her. She continued to amaze me with what she is capable of. Never a dull moment with this little-big gal.

Hannah's Creativity with Legos

I love when Hannah is creative.
Last week she worked on this lego "mansion" she called it, for about 3 days.
She was so proud of herself, she took the IPad and took pictures to show me.
I love the detail. She made a kitchen, living room, store, and bedroom for her lego gals.

I was very proud of her taking time to think creatively and build what she pictured in her mind.
