Christmas Tree Search

Every year, the day after Thanksgiving we go searching for a live tree for Christmas. 

Take a peak from our journey this time. 

 

 The kids helped decorate the tree. It was a year I didn't care about how it turned out. The only thing that mattered to me, is that the kids had fun and the glass ornaments stayed towards the top. 

...and maybe that we had some balance of silver and red ;-)

Pecan Picking

Our neighbors have several pecan trees and so we went as a family, minus Hannah, to pick pecans. 

Kathryn was so excited. Every pecan she found was a big deal. She lived her bucket and always had to have t full, never wanting to empty it out into the main bucket. Jensen didn’t like walking in the leaves and was cold. He did t have much excitement in searching for pecans. 

Either way, it was a fun little outing to enjoy in the crisp, cool weather!
