Hannah's birthday fell on a weekend we were going camping. She was so excited to have a birthday celebration with her friends, while camping.
The day before we picked up some cup cakes to celebrate the next day. When she woke up, we asked her if she felt any different, to which she replied no.
She was super excited and all she could think about was blowing out the candles on a cupcake. For breakfast we had bacon, per her request. After breakfast, we brought out the cupcakes. We forgot to BRING candles, so I made one out of a stick--I was pretty proud of myself.

Later that afternoon, we returned home for some rest and then Opa and Oma came over with Aunt Julia for another celebration. Since Hannah and Jensen are a week apart, we decided to have a combined family birthday early to make sure that the kids had time with grandparents alone, instead of having a bunch of kids around at a party, and no attention to family!
We grilled burgers and again, enjoyed cupcakes.
The kids received circuit sets from Opa and Oma and they were super excited. Hannah also received legos and she is just crazy about legos!!
